The Crumpler Brazillion Dollar Home. Seen here next to an (empty) bottle of Stella Artois. The top flap has an internal support about as large as the top of the bag, the flap is folded backwards at the point where the support ends.

There is also a stiff support in the bottom of the bag. Personally I really wish they would have left these out. Granted, the camera and laptop seem very secure, I just feel that it would carry better without the added stiffness since it is a fairly large bag.

Weight = 2.9kg / 6.4lb

Internally this bag is very deep, easily enough for a 70-200, probably even attached to the camera body. The laptop compartment is 15" across.

There is a stiff internal flap at the top that includes a small mesh pocket, however I prefer to keep it folded down into the laptop compartment as you can see in the previous photo. There is also an elastic strap that lets you keep this flap up when the top flap is open (if that is actually the reason it is there).

The front pocket is packed with smaller pockets, three mesh, two expanding, one full length zipper, and two other very small ones on either side.

The front velcro pocket contains nine red and nine green memory card slots, just big enough to squeeze my CF card in its case. I REALLY wish these were big enough for batteries.

Along with side loops, there is also an external pocket on each side of the bag.

The bag is about one foot tall. Here you can see the large mesh pocket in the top flap.

The BDH is 16" wide externally.

The top flap buckles to two clasps from the tripod straps on the bottom of the bag.

At first I feared that the straps would hang like this if I did not buckle down the top flap. Thankfully there is a strip sewn on just below the buckles that I was able to push the bottom clips through and keep the straps flush with the bottom of the bag.
